Firefox Mobile Is Here

Firefox Mobile has been making some waves in the technology world.  Since it is not the first, but by far the most popular mobile browser platform to hit the market others will be sure to follow.  This is an exciting time for those who love their smartphones.  App developers are going bonkers trying to take their share of what will be the dominant market in only a few years to come.  There will be many more new options coming soon surely both Google Chrome and Microsoft Internet Explorer will be on board soon.

Well actually it has been here for some time, most people have simply never heard of it yet. This is largely because the Firefox mobile browser is only available for the Nokia N900 cellular phone at this time.  You can follow the supported devices here.   You will be able to see when you can download this fan favorite browser to your mobile device or cell phone from watching the Mozilla Supported Device List for Firefox mobile.

Google To Release Their Own Operating System - Chrome OS

The Google Chrome OS project started about a year ago.  This project was only an extension to the existing Google Chrome Browser initially and then they started adding and adding, until they thought that it would be a good idea to go ahead and try to make a full blown OS.   This concept has been driven by open source developers from all over the world and will be sure to be a huge success when the finished product is ready for market.

The process of taking this new operating system from concept to reality has not been a very fast process, but there are so many changes coming around in the web dev world that Google does most likely have bigger fish to fry.  As net-book sales skyrocket, we would not be surprised to see net-books shipping with the Google Chrome OS as early as next year.

If you want to download the Google Chrome OS Beta, it is already available, but at this point there is not a lot to see.  You can go ahead and give it a spin if you want and see what you think of the Next Big Operating System from Google today!

New Tech Bloq Technology Source Slideshow!

http://TechBloq.com is still pretty new and we are just starting to launch our site promotions.  We always think that the other sites that start blasting information about their site before they have a solid grounds to build a site on are simply rediculous.  Now that TechBloq has started to make name for themselves, we thought that the next logical step would be to let a few more people on the internet know what is going on on the new technology source, TechBloq!

So here is a simple and informative slideshow we put together using some pretty cool web technology in its own right.  We did not use a program on our pc, everything here was created using Google docs and of course slideshare.  So sit back, enjoy and don't be afraid to share this with all your friends!

Server 2008 Goes Green and Again in 2010

Microsoft has been making an attempt to make a more power efficient servers software.  The ability to shut down processes that are not being used and in essence use less CPU power when there is not reason for it, has led to some rather serious energy savings.  Actually Microsoft claims that if you configure their Windows 2008 server correctly it can give you a savings of up to 25% in power consumption!

Since everybody is going green and everybody wants to same money, save electricity and save the world, many companies are upgrading their Windows Server software to count the savings up themselves.  Read more about Microsoft Server 2008 Green Energy here.

Sony Announces 3-D Blueray Player

Sony has just announced the release of its new blue-ray player that allows its owner to play 3-D HD releases.  This 3-D technology has become very popular in recent movies and now you can bring this technology home and into your living room using Sony's new blue-ray player.  There are a few other companies who are offering similar products that will be available very soon including Panasonic and Samsung.

With one of these cool blue-ray players you can watch your favorite 3-D titles over and over again without having to pay ridiculous prices at the theater!

Leave it to Sony to come up with a great speakers setup for the iPhone that will fill the room with sound! Tech News Flash : Sony Xperia X2a and Sony Satio Cell Phones are here! 

Sony Ericsson has to be one of the coolest techology companies in the cell phone business. Sony has just release a pair of new nex-gen cell phones.  The Sony Ericsson Satio is a really cool cell phone which kind of resembles the very popular Nokia N900 and the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2a which is another smartphone which offers a slide out querty keyboard an huge tough screen display. This phone plays HD video, has a amazing 12 MP camera with a sliding cover over the built in flash and you better believe it plays some music too.  The camera in this new Sony phone actually take very nice quality video too.  You will be glad to hear that the Sony Ericsson Statio also offer stereo bluetooth, so you don't need a wire connecting you to the Statio to rock out.
