Hot New Concept Cars For 2010

There are many great concept cars of 2010 coming our way very soon. A concept car is a resource for designing automobiles which is dedicated towards development and design of automobiles, industrial design and product designs. One of the most recent concept cars is the Volkswagen 1 liter car which can seat two people and is a diesel hybrid. It was designed in such a way so that it served the dual purpose of being practical as well as road worthy. Apart from this it has the superb capability of being able to travel very long distance like 100 km with the help of only 1 liter of diesel. It is a great fuel saving automobile and will be very useful in the long run and in future where we are likely to face shortage of fuel. Its fuel consumption according to the international system of units is 1 US gallon of fuel for 235 miles or 282 mpg Imperial.

The concept used behind this achievement is that the material used for making this car is very light weighted and the car has a streamlined body structure and the transmission and engine of the car has been designed to be very economic. This concept car was designed in the year 2009 and this limited edition car is expected to be in market in the beginning of 2010. Its prototype was first put on display in the year 2002 and this car has an excellent speed of 100mph or 161 Km per hour. However at such a high speed its fuel consumption goes from 1L per 100 km to 1.36 l per 100 km. this is still very less as compared to the fuel consumption by car fleet of Australia which consumes 11.5 L of fuel per 100 km.

Other features of the car which makes it such a great discovery is that its two seats are positioned in a tandem manner and are not present side by side. Also it has electronic displays and cameras instead of mirrors. Its rear wheels are positioned very close to each other to make the body of the car streamlined.

Some examples of 2010 concept cars are are coming from about every automotive maker out there, these include: Hyundai , Ford, Nissan, Lexus and many more. It has very small frontal area and drag coefficient to minimize its aerodynamic drag which is 0.159 instead of the general 0.30 .

iPhone 4 Released

We all knew that the big iPhone 4 release was coming today. Steve Jobs did his thing on stage and only ran into a few snags with connecting to the internet and other great laughable offenses. However, what about the other releases that many have anticipated to come along with this huge press release.  Well, we didn't see any news about the iPhone being made available from other vendors like Verizon and have heard nothing else about the Apple smart touch pad. These are just a couple of the stories that many tech sites have been spreading rumors about that simply did not come to pass.  Tech Bloq did not get down on these rumors and boy we are glad we did not.  There are many other Engadget fluff stories that died today as the press conference came to an end. Verizon iPhone, $99 Apple TV and other no-shows

There were many disappointments, but the release of the new iPhone was not one of them. We also noticed that now there is a mysterious iPhone 3GS that is only 8 GB showing up on Apples site today too, very interesting.  Of course when you go to AT&T they only offer the iPhone 3GS in 16GB and 32GB, but we never heard where this came from and probably never will?

Firefox Mobile Is Here

Firefox Mobile has been making some waves in the technology world.  Since it is not the first, but by far the most popular mobile browser platform to hit the market others will be sure to follow.  This is an exciting time for those who love their smartphones.  App developers are going bonkers trying to take their share of what will be the dominant market in only a few years to come.  There will be many more new options coming soon surely both Google Chrome and Microsoft Internet Explorer will be on board soon.

Well actually it has been here for some time, most people have simply never heard of it yet. Google To Release Their Own Operating System - Chrome OS

The Google Chrome OS project started about a year ago.  This project was only an extension to the existing Google Chrome Browser initially and then they started adding and adding, until they thought that it would be a good idea to go ahead and try to make a full blown OS.   This concept has been driven by open source developers from all over the world and will be sure to be a huge success when the finished product is ready for market.

The process of taking this new operating system from concept to reality has not been a very fast process, but there are so many changes coming around in the web dev world that Google does most likely have bigger fish to fry.  As net-book sales skyrocket, we would not be surprised to see net-books shipping with the Google Chrome OS as early as next year.

If you want to download the Google Chrome OS Beta, it is already available, but at this point there is not a lot to see.  You can go ahead and give it a spin if you want and see what you think of the Next Big Operating System from Google today!
