Well, if you follow social media and of course Twitter, you already know that the investors and corporate heads have been trying to figure out the right way to monetize their site. The promoted tweets system that twitter will be implementing is what they have decided on and we will be seeing them all to soon if you ask me. I am not so excited to see another ad on another site, but when you think about the millions of dollars that has been pumped into the twitter project since day one by private investors, I am sure they are happy to see a final decision.The way that this will work is that the ads or promoted tweets will show in search results on twitter and most likely on google too. So now that Twitter tweets show in google, this may be a new way for both marketers and twitter to profit from this web giant. The system will be live very soon so we can see what it is going to be like pretty quick.
